Zeran Li is a Law Clerk at Oliver-Zhang Law, PLLC, where he supports the firm’s practice in immigration law, personal injury, medical malpractice, and complex cross-border legal matters.  Mr. Li earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating with distinction on the Dean’s List, and holds a Bachelor of Laws in Criminal Justice from the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. During his four years of legal study in Shanghai, he developed a strong foundation in international and comparative law.

Before joining Oliver-Zhang Law, Mr. Li worked in China, where he assisted clients in civil, corporate, and family-law matters, gaining hands-on experience in litigation preparation and client counseling. His bicultural perspective enables him to bridge differences between the U.S. and Chinese legal systems and to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.

At Oliver-Zhang Law, Mr. Li provides essential support in drafting legal motions, managing discovery, preparing court filings, and maintaining client communication in both English and Chinese. Mr. Li provides comprehensive support to clients navigating complex immigration processes. He has assisted in preparing and reviewing petitions for family-based immigration, including marriage-based green cards and adjustment of status applications. His bilingual background and cross-cultural understanding enable him to communicate effectively with clients, ensuring accuracy, empathy, and efficiency throughout each stage of the immigration process.  Mr. Li is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
